Eleanor DeVries
Eleanor E. DeVries, 98, Herington, died June 5, 2008.
Born March 26, 1910, north of Herington, she was the daughter of Albert and Ida (Will) Kandt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard DeVries; brother, Arthur Kandt; three sisters, Olga Burke, Irene Cox, and Esther Czarnowsky; and her parents.
Survivors include two sisters, Viola Czarnowsky of Herington and Agnes Tannehill of Wichita.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Herington.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Dickinson County Hospice or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington.
