Eliza Bennett graduates from KU
Eliza Apple Bennett of Marion graduated May 21 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
Dr. Bennett was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the Russell F. Holcomb Award for outstanding performance as a student in obstetrics and gynecology.
In July, Dr. Bennett will begin a residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wis.
Bennett is the daughter of Margaret and Harry Bennett, rural Marion.
