Elma Piper
Elma Piper, 91, formerly of Hope, died June 13, 2006, at Alterra Sterling House, Abilene.
Born March 15, 1915, at Marion, she was the daughter of Conrad and Stella (Dunlap) Hett.
On March 14, 1954, she married Albert Piper near Marion. They lived and farmed in the Hope area until moving to Abilene in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in 2002.
Survivors include a brother, Paul Hett of Parsons.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Countryside Community Church, rural Hope, with the Rev. Warren Hett and Pastor Chester Strobel officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the Red Cross Blood Bank.
