Erma Hiebert
Erma E. Hiebert, 87, died June 12, 2004, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born Sept. 29, 1916, at Lehigh, she was the daughter of Peter and Marie (Loewen) Stubby.
On Feb. 9, 1941, she married Bill Hiebert at Lehigh. He died in 2000.
She was a nurse's aide at Salem Hospital and a member of First Mennonite Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a son, Phillip Dean Hiebert.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Kate Hiebert of rural Goessel; two sisters, Maurine Martens and Goldie Franz both of Hillsboro; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro with Pastor Stanley Bohn officiating.
Burial was in Lehigh Mennonite Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
