Erma Hiebert
Erma H. Hiebert, 87, died March 27, 2005, at Schowalter Villa, Hesston.
Born Feb. 5, 1918, at Newton, she was the daughter of Dietrich and Katharina (Kornelson) Hiebert.
On April 15, 1938, she married Frank Hiebert at Inman.
A longtime resident of Walton, Newton, and Hesston, she was a charter member of Walton Mennonite Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Galen.
Survivors include a brother, Olin Hiebert of Park City; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Hill Mennonite Church, rural Whitewater, with Pastor James Voth officiating.
Burial will precede the service at 10 a.m. at Walton Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Mennonite Central Committee or Central Homecare & Hospice.
