Evelyn Deines
Evelyn M. Deines, 91, died July 15, 2004, at Marion Manor.
Born Sept. 13, 1912, in Marion County, she was the daughter of Paul and Julia (Lespagnard) Rosiere.
On Jan. 8, 1940, she married Rudy Deines. He died in 1966.
A lifetime resident of Marion, she was a clerk and typist for the local SRS office and member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Ernest Rosiere.
Survivors include a son, Leland of Wichita; a daughter, Maurita Lymer of Kingsland, Ark.; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Holy Family Parish, Marion, with Fr. Steve Gronert officiating.
Charlene Svitak was organist and Mike Lymer was vocalist.
Casket bearers were Joe Svitak, Tim Yarwood, Eddy Svitak, and Shane Bercaw.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence.
A memorial fund has been established with Central Homecare and Hospice.
