Evelyn K. Lehrman
Evelyn K. Lehrman, 80, died Sept. 23, 2006, at Bethesda Home, Goessel.
Born Nov. 4, 1925, in Newton, she was the daughter of Abraham and Sarah K. Schmidt. She was a homemaker.
On May 9, 1945, she married Orie Willis Lehrman in rural Goessel. She was a member of Tabor Mennonite Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers Simon J. Schmidt and Eldo Schmidt and sister Rachel Goossen.
Survivors include two sons, Verney Lehrman, Newton; and Jerry Lehrman, Fortaleza, Brazil; a daughter, Kaye Klassen, Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Art Schmidt, Walton; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tabor Mennonite Church, Goessel. Pastors Corey Miller and Karen Andres officiated. Burial was in Tabor Mennonite Cemetery.
