FCCLA officers attend training
District Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) recently participated in officer training in Sterling.
MHS officers in attendance were Jessica Bernhardt, Jayde Hess, Valeree Hett, Kalaya Jackson, and Kimber Hardey.
Keynote speaker was Sterling College head football coach Andy Lambert.
Participants attended workshops about national programs and leadership.
FCCLA celebrated its 60th birthday this year and members decorated rain gutters for the birthday bash. To close the event, district officers provided sundaes for all attendees.
MHS chapter officers were selected last May through the closed ballot process. Officer installation and new member initiation will be Oct. 14.
