Florence seniors attend March meeting
Sixteen attended the senior citizens meeting March 14 at Florence.
Ray Davidson gave the blessing.
Misty Magathan of the Florence post office gave a program on identity theft. She said it's important to watch your mail, and shred anything with your name on it. Do not give your Social Security number, date of birth, bank account, or credit card numbers to anyone. Call cell phone providers and have the text messaging feature removed. Crooks can use up minutes and charge them to your phone.
Everyone was reminded to file a federal income tax return in order to receive a rebate in May. The post office has forms.
