Floyd and Barbara Thomas to celebrate 40th anniversary years ago
Floyd and Barbara Thomas of Euless, Texas, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Nov. 20.
Floyd Thomas and Barbara Weber were married Nov. 20, 1964, in Newton. Barbara is the daughter of Lois Weber of Marion and the late Leland Weber. Floyd and Barbara spent a portion of their married life in Newton before moving to Texas in 1990.
Floyd is employed part-time as an engineer with Trans Systems, headquartered in Oklahoma. Barbara is employed as a production vice president with Walter Mortgage Co. in Texas.
The couple has three children, Vicki Harder and husband, David, of Newton, Scott Thomas of Montana, and Jeff Thomas of Texas. They also have four grandchildren.
