The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
Cheri Mount, 18, Ellsworth, was northbound, in a 1995 Mercury Mystique registered to Daniel Mount, on Kanza just south of 190th at 12:07 p.m. Sept. 4. Tori B. Trebelcock, 22, Ulysses, driving a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina registered to Rod Trebelcock, was in front of Mount. Rachel M. Pederson, 21, Cimarron, driving a 1997 Plymouth Voyager, also was northbound in front of Pederson. The vehicles were slowing to stop in traffic at the intersection, however Mount was unable to stop and struck the rear of Trebelock's vehicle, pushing her into the rear of Pederson's vehicle. Passenger in the Mount vehicle were Misty Moon, 18, Ellsworth, who was transported by Marion County EMS (Marion) to Hillsboro Community Medical Center, and Katherine Goering, 19, Newton. Passengers in the Trebelcock vehicle were Kelsi Trebelcock, 19, Ulysses, Robbin Ludwig, 19, Maize, and Sarah Lyons, 19, Hamilton, Mo. Lyons also was transported by Marion County EMS to HCMC. Passengers in the Pederson vehicle were Amy Rouse, 21, McPherson, Rebecca Pederson, 19, Cimarron, Briana Tucker, 18, Wichita, and Angie Buller, 21, Ingels. The accident was investigated by Deputy Mike Vineski.
