Former Warriors: Where are they now?

Mike Helmer
Mike Helmer, a 1990 Marion High School graduate, has found himself in select company after taking his girls' basketball team to the 6A state tournament this season.
It was the second time in as many seasons the former all-star Warrior played in the tournament with his team from Wichita South.
Despite a loss in the first round to eventual runner-up Olathe South, Helmer now has two state tournament appearances in his first two seasons as the Titans' coach.
Last year South fell to Wichita Heights in the championship game, the same team who won the title this season.
