Four Warriors earn post-season league awards

Three members of the Marion High School boys' basketball team and one from the girls' team were honored by the Mid-Central Activities Association.

Senior Erin Carr was the lone girls' team representative after being named to the honorable-mention MCAA team.

During the season she averaged 9.2 points and four rebounds per game.

The boys' team had a player on each post-season team. Jason Hett ended his Warrior playing career by being unanimously named to the league's first-team. He averaged 14 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals.

Fellow senior Travis Hett was named to the second-team after contributing in nearly every offensive category. He led the team with 16 points per game and added 4.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.7 blocks. He also led the team with 46 three-pointers.

Junior guard Calvin Jeffrey had his best season of his career, and was picked for the honorable mention team. He just missed averaging double-figures with 9.5 points per game. He also contributed 2.6 assists per game.
