Frances Barber
Frances E. Barber, 67, of Marion, died Feb. 26, 2006, at Marion Manor.
Born March 23, 1937, at Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Owens) Weinreich.
She grew up and attended school in Baltimore, graduating in 1955. She moved to Denver, Colo., where she was a property manager for apartments and mini storage units.
On Dec. 31, 1970, she married Richard "Dick" Barber at Denver, Colo. The couple moved to Marion in 2001.
She was a member of Marion Christian Church and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Survivors include a son, Chuck Miller of Marion; and brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Lynda Barber of Denver, Colo.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Marion Christian Church with the Rev. Carl Helm officiating.
Burial will be in McPherson City Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with Marion Manor.
