Frances Berger
Frances L. Berger, 89, of Peabody, died Dec. 29, 2007.
Born Jan. 13, 1938, at Newton, she was the daughter of Edward and Helen (Klassen) Schmidt.
She attended Clearwater High School and St. Francis Nursing School, Wichita.
On June 29, 1958, she married Ervin Berger at Clearwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Ervin of Peabody; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cheryl Berger of Peabody, Gary and Sue Berger of Clearwater, and Scott and Jennifer Berger of Monroe, N.Y.; daughter and husband, Cathy and Kent Henry of Burns; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at Peabody Christian Church with Pastor Jim Pohlman officiating.
Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
Memorial funds have been established with Peabody Christian Church, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, or Kansas Cancer Center.
