Frans recognized in KU Law magazine

Myron Frans, son of Fern Palmer of Marion and the late Charlie Frans, was the subject of a story, "The Accidental Tax Man — Myron Frans," in the spring issue of the KU School of Law magazine.

Frans is a former criminal justice and sociology teacher turned well-respected tax attorney.

Prior to starting law school, Frans taught sociology and criminal justice at Washburn University, Topeka. He expected to become a criminal law attorney or criminal justice professor. Instead, he now is a partner in the tax department of one of the largest firms in Minnesota and one of the 100 largest firms in the U.S., Faegre & Benson.

Clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Honeywell, Wells Fargo, and 3M. He spends his time representing clients in federal and state court in cases against the IRS, the Department of Justice, and Minnesota Department of Revenue.
