Frieda Wendlandt
Frieda Wendlandt, 86, former resident of Herington, died June 25, 2006, at Topeka.
Born Aug. 23, 1919, at Herington, she was the daughter of Henry F. and Mollie (Schneider) Brunner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester; two brothers; three sisters; and her parents.
Survivors include a son, John Wendlandt of Topeka; brother, Duane Brunner of Herington; four sisters, Norma Olson and Leona Wendlandt, both of Herington, Edith Osborn of Marion, and Donna Ewing of Pratt.
Funeral services were held this morning (Wednesday) at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington, with the Rev. John Gerry officiating.
Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington.
