Fuzzy Nuss
Loren (Fuzzy) Nuss, 72, of Hillsboro, died Sept. 25, 2004, at Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita.
Born April 10, 1932, at McPherson, he was the son of Harry and Augusta (Erion) Nuss.
He was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
On Jan. 11, 1950, he married Lois B. Zimmerman at Durham. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Nuss of Hillsboro; mother, Augusta Kottman of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter and son-in-law, Peni Jo and Stan Ens of Hillsboro; five sons, Bradley Nuss of Hillsboro; Stanley Nuss and Brian Nuss of Durham, Gary Nuss of Wichita, and Loren Nuss of McPherson; a sister, LaVonne Wenrich of Atwater, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, with the Rev. Clark Davis officiating. Burial in Durham Baptist Cemetery preceded the service.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
