Garrard claims first-place finish
First-place finishes are piling up for CHS senior Justin Garrard. His fourth top finish in cross country came Thursday at Council Grove in a two- mile run of 17 minutes, 28 seconds.
Four team members participated in the girls' varsity run. Dani Hatfield finished 39th among 81 runners with a time of 15:08. Brittany Owens finished 73rd at 17:11, Allie Will, 78th, 18:11, and Justine Jennings, 79th, 18:21.
The final meet of the regular season will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Chapman.
