Geraldine Dale
Geraldine Dale, 79, died March 15, 2005, at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
Born June 24, 1925, at Strong City, she was the daughter of William and Perle Hamm.
She attended school in Cottonwood Falls and graduated from the University of Kansas School of Business in 1947. She worked as a bookkeeper and was the financial secretary at First Methodist Church, Wichita.
On Nov. 9, 1958, she married Ward Dale at Cottonwood Falls. He died in 2001.
She was a member of Marion Christian Church and Athena Study Club.
Survivors include two nieces, Judy Wright of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Donna Wyckoff of Dekalb, Ill.; and a nephew, Allan Dale of Twin Falls, Idaho.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Zeiner Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Helm officiating.
Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cottonwood Falls.
A memorial fund has been established with Marion Christian Church.
