Glen Carroll

Glen Milton Carroll, 64, Florence, died May 20, 2008.

Born March 12, 1944, at Eureka, he was the son of Henry and Mary Lou (Chastain) Carroll.

He worked as a truck driver in the oil fields.

In 1960, he married Loretta Jean Cox. The marriage ended in divorce. In the early 1970s, he married Grace. They later were divorced.

On July 5, 2003, he married Judy Crooks at Florence.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of Florence; five stepsons, David Jones of Americus, John Britton of Liberty, Mo., Don Britton of Amarillo, Texas, and Mike Britton and Shannon Britton, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four daughters, Glenda Carroll of Emporia, Ethel Renfro of Columbus, Ind., Mary Hale of Americus, and Tina Emly of Fairview, Mont.; four stepdaughters, Verna Grosse and Tonya, both of El Dorado and Leah Schmidt and Ina Britton, both of Marion; two brothers, Frank Carroll of Eureka and Mike Carroll of Gillette, Wyo.; five sisters, Peggy Brown of Atlanta, Ga., Linda Shaw of Eureka, Teresa Lish of Gillette, Wyo., Brenda Nuessen of El Dorado, and Sherry Sandy of Wright, Wyo.; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were conducted Friday afternoon at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka, with Pastor Steve Hysom officiating.

A memorial fund has been established with VFW Post #2712 in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, Eureka.
