Glenn L. Heitfield Jr.
Glenn L. Heitfield, Jr., 57, of Lost Springs, died Feb. 3, 2006.
Born Aug. 2, 1948, at New Paris, Ohio, he was the son of Glen Sr. and Betty Heitfield.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and lived in the Herington area since 1968.
He was manager of Delta Tire and a salvage operator in Herington.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Potocnik, Jr., in 2005; sister, Barbara Jean Heitfield; and his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Janie of Lost Springs; two sons, Troy Heitfield of Herington and Paul Potocnik of Lincolnville; four daughters, Julie Newbury of Glenpool, Okla., Cindy Bird and Barbara Hart, both of Herington, and Becky Smith of Alliance, Neb.; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington.
Memorials in his name may be sent to the donor's choice of charities.
