Gooding family meets for reunion
Members of the Gooding family gathered July 15 at the Marion County Lake hall for a family reunion. A potluck meal was served at 12:30 p.m. and the afternoon was spent swimming and visiting.
Cecile Penney of Topeka was surprised with a birthday cake in celebration of her 70th birthday, which was July 11. Photos of events in her life were on display, and she received gifts and good wishes. All enjoyed cake in the afternoon.

Connie Thompson and Taylor of Abilene, Virgil and Barb Gooding, Danny and Debby Gooding, DeWayne and Rhonda Moore, Kelsey Moore, Matt Wood and Casey, and Natalie Gooding, all of El Dorado.
Kevin and Andrea Weyand, Brandon Weyand, Whitney Drane, Don and Cecile Penney, Alfred and Lila Gooding, Pat and Tammi Pierce and Katie, Ron Gooding and Brianna, and Kathryn Williams, all of Topeka.
