Hannaford Astract and Title Co. celebrates local business milestone
Hannaford Abstract and Title Company of Marion entertained employees and business associates Oct. 24 at Marion Country Club in recognition of 135 years of continuous service in Marion County.
Presiding over the event were Roger (Bud) and Lavonne Hannaford and Roger and Sally Hannaford III. Special guests were Norma Hannaford, Wanda (Hannaford) Burk, Mary (Hannaford) Exline, and Gayle (Hannaford) Thomas.
Fall decorations were arranged by Sally Hannaford, Gayle Thomas, and Tudy Brunner. Lucille Olsen and Shayla Clark were punch bowl attendants for a social mixer which preceded a meal prepared by Arletta Koehn of Arletta's Catering of Burns. Erin Richmond, Emily Svoboda, Tedra Eis, and Katie Hett were servers.
Recognized for years of service were Lucille Olsen, 27 years; Tudy Brunner, 10 years; and Shayla Clark, five years.
Musical entertainment was provided by Annie Wilson of Elmdale.
Guest speakers were state representative Clark Schultz, who also is a Stewart Title Agency representative for Kansas, and Bud Whisler, president of Stewart Title of Kansas and Division Manager of Central United State Division.
