Helmer, Carlson plan wedding
Jessi Carlson and Paul Helmer, both of Marion, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Parents of the couple are Brad Carlson and Rhonda Carlson and Darrel Helmer, all of Marion, and the late Marsha Helmer.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Marion High School and Flint Hills Technical College, Emporia. She is a dental assistant in the office of Loren Loewen, D.D.S., Hillsboro.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Marion High School and North Central Kansas Technical College, Beloit. He is employed by Herington Heating and Air, Herington.
The couple plans to be married Sept. 8 at Marion Christian Church.
