Henry Sprowls
Henry Allen Sprowls, 84, died Aug. 15, 2005, at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
Born June 26, 1921, at Cushing, Okla., he was the son of Alic and Ada (Lane) Sprowls.
On Feb. 1, 1948, he married Betty Repenhagen at Wichita.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
He and his family lived in Wichita and Derby and he retired as office manager for Wichita Frozen Foods. After retirement, the couple lived at Council Grove and Marion.
Survivors include his wife Betty of Marion; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Kathy Sprowls of McPherson; daughter, Roberta Young; sister, Gladys Miller of Humansville, Mo.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Helm officiating.
A committal service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Wichita.
A memorial fund has been established with Central Homecare and Hospice.
