Hospice Tree of Life lighting ceremony is Monday
Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice will hold its annual Tree of Life lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. Monday in Central Park, Marion.
The tree will be lighted and remain lighted during the holiday season in honor and memory of loved ones.
Marion High School Singers will provide music during the ceremony. Following the ceremony, refreshments will be served at Marion Christian Church. The event is open to the public.
Donations may be made in advance to honor or memorialize loved ones. A $20 donation receives a light on the tree. A $100 donor receives a light on the tree and a collectable glass ornament made from recycled materials. For a donation of $150 or more, the donor will receive a light and ornament plus be listed on a permanent Roll of Remembrance at the hospice.
