Irene Novak
V. Irene Novak, 93, died April 23, 2007, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center Long Term Care Unit, Hillsboro.
Born Nov. 17, 1913, at Carlton, she was the daughter of William and Ida Bell (Kaen) Medley.
She lived most of her life in the Tampa community, graduating from Tampa High School.
On April 16, 1941, she married Alvin Novak at Tampa. He died in 1996.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Holy Family Parish, Tampa.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Stika of Lincolnville; and two sons, Kenneth and Kelly Novak, both of rural Tampa; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 27 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Tampa. Burial was in St. John Nep. Cemetery, Pilsen.
A memorial fund has been established with Holy Family Parish.
