Irene Tajchman
Irene J. Tajchman, 66, died Oct. 2, 2004, near Marion.
Born Aug. 29, 1938, at Tampa, she was the daughter of Joe and Rose Lillian (Oborny) Tajchman.
A registered nurse, she was a member of St. John Nep. Church, Pilsen, and Tampa American Legion.
Survivors include a son, Merlin Polok of Waterloo, Iowa; three daughters, Rose Polok of San Diego, Calif., Emma Davidson of Hope, and Arlene Tryon of Blue Rapids; two brothers, Ed Tajchman of Garland, Texas, and Joe Tajchman of Lincolnville; a sister, Anna Marie Miller of Andover; and eight grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
Funeral Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Nep. Church, Pilsen, with Father Paul Oborny and Father Steve Gronert as concelebrants.
Burial will be in Pilsen Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with Pilsen Community Center.
