Isabelle Unrau
Isabelle Unrau, 92, of Hillsboro, died March 22, 2005.
The daughter of Jacob and Susie (Sawatzky) Claassen, she was born Aug. 20, 1912, at Meade.
On June 12, 1938, she married Arthur Unrau at Janzen, Neb. She was a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur of Hillsboro; a son, Paul Unrau of Moundridge; three daughters, Phyllis Schroeder of Lakewood, Colo., Elvera Rempel of Hillsboro, and Priscilla Wieneke of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Goldie Janzen of Fresno, Calif., and Virginia Friesen of McPherson; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Dave Plett and Pastor Bruce Porter officiating.
Burial was in Hillsboro MB Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Hillsboro MB Church, Union Rescue Mission, and Central Homecare and Hospice Inc.
