J. Plett, A. Reynolds married April 16 at Belleville years ago

Amy Reynolds of Formoso and Jason Plett of Lincolnville were united in marriage at a four o'clock ceremony April 16, 2005, at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Belleville.

Parents of the bride are Daniel and Mary Reynolds of Formoso. The groom's parents are Jerry and Rowena Plett of Lincolnville.

Father Ralph Ashenbrenner officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Paul Chopp played the trumpet and was accompanied by organist Janet Mehlus.

Aden Joy, uncle of the bride, sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "More Than Everything."

Tapers were lighted by the groom's nieces, Sydney Idleman of Rosalia and Morgan Ehlers of Formoso.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory satin spaghetti-strapped two-piece dress. Sequins adorned the bodice and the skirt had a sequined design at the base. A medium-length satin train completed her outfit.

She carried a bouquet of 20 short-stemmed pink, ivory, yellow, mauve, and lilac roses, tied together with a lilac bow.

Nicole Shumard of Manhattan was her best friend's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Dana Deters of Seneca and the bride's sister-in-law, Stephanie Reynolds of Larned. They wore lilac satin two-piece spaghetti-strapped dresses with sequins around the top and bottom of the bodice and a floor-length empire waist skirt. They carried bouquets of spring flowers.

Josh Plett of Lincolnville served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Ehlers of Formoso, brother-in-law of the groom, and Dustin Sherbert of Manhattan.

The bride's niece, Trinity Reynolds of Beatrice, Neb., and the groom's niece, Alli Hett of Marion, were flower girls.

The groom's nephew, Lane Ehlers of Formoso, was ring bearer.

The bride's brothers, Tyson Reynolds of Larned, Brice Reynolds of Beatrice, Neb., and Dustin Reynolds of Formoso, seated guests.

Brenda Morgan of Holton was guest book attendant, and the groom's nieces, Laura Idleman of Rosalia and Mekenzie Ehlers of Formoso, were in charge of gifts.

Dwight and Linda Sutphin of Kansas City, Mo., aunt and uncle of the bride, and the groom's sisters and brothers-in-law, Don and Dawn Hett of Marion and Richard and Pam Idleman of Rosalia, hosted the reception and dance held at the Moose Lodge in Concordia.

The bride is employed as purchasing administrative assistant at Golden Heritage Foods in Hillsboro. The groom farms and is employed by Gorges Dairy, Viola, as a milk hauler.

After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple resides in rural Lincolnville.
