Jack Richmond

Marion businessman Jack W. Richmond, 66, died Oct. 11, 2004, at Gasville, Ark.

Born Oct. 29, 1937, at Antelope, he was the son of Clyde and Henrietta (Conyers) Richmond.

On Jan. 30, 1959, he married Joyce Pientka at Marion.

A lifelong resident of Marion, he owned Marion Manufacturing and was a farmer.

He was a member of Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Society of Machine Engineers (SME) Salina Chapter, and Quail Unlimited.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Marion; three sons, Allan, David, and Tim, all of Marion; a daughter, Jackie Palic of Marion; two brothers, Ralph and Jim Richmond, both of Marion; a sister, Evelyn Bredemeier of Marion; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Eastmoor United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Goering officiating.

Burial was in Marion Cemetery.
