Amy Elizabeth McMillen of Blackjack, Texas, and Brian Lee Jay of Little Elm, Texas, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Amy's parents are George and Judy McKinney of Blackjack, Texas, and the late Duncan McMillen.
Brian is the son of Larry and Peggy Jay of Goessel.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Jacksonville High School and Texas A&M University with a master's degree in business administration. She currently is employed with McKinney & Moore, Jacksonville, Texas.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Goessel High School and Pittsburg State University with a bachelor's degree in automotive technology. He currently is employed with Ford Motor Company in Lewisville, Texas.
The couple plans to be married Oct. 6 at Castle on the Lake, Jacksonville, Texas.
