Jensen, McMichael plan October wedding
Kayla Kristine Jensen and Richard McMichael, both of Kansas City, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding,
Kayla is the daughter of Jerry and Marge Jensen of Marion. Richard is the son of Gary and Susan McMichael of Kirksville, Mo.
The bride-to-be graduated from Marion High School and earned a bachelor's degree in microbiology from Emporia State University. She is employed as a supervisor in the microbiology department for Laboratory Corporation of America.
Her fiancé graduated from Kirksville High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Park University. He works at the home office of J.C. Penney's in Lenexa.
The couple plans to marry Oct. 2 at the Ritz Charles in Overland Park. A reception will follow.
