Jessica Davis, Derek Euwer exchange vows in Central Park

Jessica Davis of Marion and Derek Euwer of Hope were united in marriage June 17, 2006, at Central Park in Marion. Judge Michael Powers performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Jim and Jan Davis of Marion. Grandparents are Bill and Mary Davis, Marion, and Esther Penner, Goessel.

Parents of the groom are Barb and Dave Hicks, Salina, and Dennis Euwer, Hope.

Matron of honor was Jamie Norris of Newton. Bridesmaids were Michele Seadeek of Council Grove and Jamie Davis, of Wichita, the bride's sisters, and Amy Waner, Marion.

Gordon Oakley of Emporia was the best man. Groomsmen were Darren Euwer, brother of the groom, Salina; James Davis, brother of the bride, West Des Moines, Iowa; and Tim Critchfield, Hutchinson.

Ring bearer was Courtney Seadeek and flower girls were Macy Seadeek and Harley Davis.

The bride wore a white, strapless mermaid-style dress with beaded and lace corset bodice. She carried a clutch bouquet of white, mini Calais lilies; hot pink, yellow, and orange Gerbera daisies; green hydrangea and green hypercium berries.

The bridesmaids' dresses were orange handkerchief-cut halter dresses. The women carried orange Gerbera daisy balls.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance were held at Marion VFW.

After honeymooning at Las Vegas, the couple lives in Burrton.

Jessica is a graduate of Marion High School and the Art Institute of Houston. She is employed as an interactive graphic designer at ADR Bookprint, Wichita. Derek is a graduate of Hope High School and Universal Technical Institute of Houston. He is employed at Hambelton LaGreca of Hutchinson.
