Jim Johnstons to observe 65th wedding anniversary years ago
Jim and Gladys Johnston of Marion will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary March 23.
Jim Johnston and Gladys Strahl were married March 23, 1941, at Wichita. They lived in Peabody for many years before retiring in Marion.
The couple has two children, James and wife Kathy Johnston of Blacksburg, Va., and Korbin and wife Jane of Lexington, S.C. They also have four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Regina, died in 1964.
The family requests cards in remembrance of the Johnstons' anniversary be sent to 502 S. Freeborn, Marion.
