John William Perry
John William "Bill" Perry, 83, retired restaurant owner and operator died June 25, 2008.
He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Wichita Bridge Club, and Westernaires Square Dance Club.
Funeral services were Saturday morning at Ascension Lutheran Church, Wichita.
Graveside services were Saturday afternoon at Highland Cemetery, Marion.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera Belle Perry in 1990 and grandson, Spencer Gallagher.
Survivors are wife, Sharon M. (Twietmeyer); son, Tim and wife, Carol of Corbin, Ky.; daughter, Gina Austin-Fresh and husband, and Rick Fresh of Wichita; stepson, Steve Twietmeyer of Wichita; stepdaughter, Cyndi and husband, Steve Gallagher of Topeka; brother, Bob and wife, Wilma of Denver; grandchildren, Christopher and wife, Stacy Perry, Matt Perry, Rachel Perry, Creighton Gallagher, Elizabeth Twietmeyer, and Charley Twietmeyer; and great-grandson, Noah Perry.
A memorial fund has been established with Ascension Lutheran Church or KSU Foundation for Basic Cancer Research.
