Kansas Honor Scholars to be recognized at program
Seventeen Marion County high school seniors will be named Kansas Honor Scholars Sept. 21 at a dinner program at Holiday Manor Convention Center, McPherson.
The program is sponsored by the University of Kansas Alumni Association and the KU Endowment Association.
Students from Centre High School are Krista Heiser and Jackie Klenda, both of Ramona. Goessel High School students are Kyle Unruh of Canton and Brittany Voth of Newton.
Hillsboro High School seniors are Peter Fast, Susanna Janzen, Robert Jost, Meredith Kliewer, Clinton Schneider, and Carrie Schroeder, all of Hillsboro.
Marion High School seniors are Adrienne Chamberland, Rachel Davidson, Casey Nelson, and Misti Richmond, all of Marion.
Students from Peabody-Burns High School include Lindsay Wiebe, Anna Zappone, and Jesse Riggs, all of Peabody.
