Klenda attends district officers conference
Jackie Klenda, president of the Centre FFA chapter and treasurer of the south central district, participated in the Kansas FFA district officer conference held Aug. 27-28 at Rock Springs, Junction City.
The theme was built around the leadership abilities that bugs use in social environments.
Officers were exposed to such topics as serving with purpose, developing facilitation skills, and developing an influence plan.
Their final session taught them how to develop skills in budgeting, websites, newsletters, public speaking, and promotion of state events.
