Kremeier Oil Productions suffers loss at property

Sometime between 10 a.m. Jan. 23 and 2 p.m. Jan. 24, an individual entered Kremeier Oil Productions property at 230th and Kanza. An oil rig pump was opened and oil valued at $3,000 spilled onto the ground. Undersheriff Randal Brazil state Kremeier Oil Productions is owned by Chris Kremeier of Herington.

Four solar powered lamps, valued at $30, were broken sometime between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 7 and 4 p.m. Jan. 8 at the home of Darla Lutes, 201 E. Main, Lehigh, reports Deputy Josh Whitwell.

Between 8 p.m. Jan. 2 and 7:08 a.m. Jan. 3 unknown persons entered Al's Café, 100 South Berry, Lost Springs, through a broken window. Individuals turned all power off to the building, opened all freezers and refrigerators, allowing food to spoil. Also damaged were fixtures used to prepare food. Supplies were taken from shelving areas and destroyed. Trash cans were dumped on the floors. Delora M. Alvarez of Lost Springs is the owner of Al's Café. Deputy Josh Whitwell states total damage and loss to the café is $3,761.34.

At 3:30 p.m. Jan. 22 a battery incident occurred at 1732 Quail Creek, Marion. During an argument, the victim was pushed twice, reports Deputy Whitwell.

Individuals opened the hood of a tractor belonging to James Weber, 302 North B, Ramona and cut a belt sometime between 8 a.m. Jan. 21 and noon Jan. 22. Deputy Whitwell states value of the belt is $50.

At 1:30 a.m. Jan. 26, an individual forced into a house at 303 North E, Ramona and twice threw a victim to the floor, then ran from the home, reports Sergeant Jeff Soyez.
