Kristeks to celebrate 50th years ago
George and Pauline Kristek of Salina will be guests of honor Aug. 11 at a reception for their 50th wedding anniversary. The event will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Mary's Queen of the Universe Catholic hall, Salina, and will be hosted by their six children and families.
Pauline Bogner and George Kristek were married Aug. 10, 1957, at Wright.
Their children are Karen Glotzbach and JoAnn Pelter of Topeka, Shirley Mello of DeSoto, Rose Mitchell of Yakima, Wash., Anita Doubrava of Muldrow, Okla., and Raymond Kristek of Kansas City, Mo. They also have 11 grandchildren.
