Kristina and Mike Helmer are married
Kristina Anderson and Mike Helmer were united in marriage at 6 p.m. July 3, 2004, at First Lutheran Church in Topeka. The Rev. Donna Duensing-Smith, great aunt of the bride, officiated.
Parents of the bride are Ralph and Susan Anderson of Topeka. Parents of the groom are Sally and Roger Hannaford of Marion and Burt Helmer of Medford, Okla.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Samantha Anderson of Denver, Colo., was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leah Masonbrink and Jill Hannaford, sister of the groom.
Best man was Scott Hannaford of Lawrence, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Matt Hatfield and Andy Hett.
A reception followed the wedding at Heritage Hall.
The couple resides in Wichita.
Rehearsal dinner
Roger and Sally Hannaford, parents of the groom, hosted the rehearsal dinner with a barbecue at the bride's home in Topeka.
A fireworks display was presented in honor of the bride and groom.
