Kukuk, Williams are married

Rebecca Nichole Kukuk and Carl Ray Williams were married at 4:30 p.m. July 7 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church.

Pastor Rick Branson officiated in the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Donna Kukuk of Marion. The groom is the son of Gary Williams of Wichita and Patty Williams of Cedar Point.

Grandparents of the bride are Herman and Audrey Kukuk of Perry, Okla., and Dorothy Neuerburg of Enid, Okla. Billy Jo and Margie Williams of Cedar Point and Mildred Reece of Randall are the groom's grandparents.

As a prelude to the ceremony, guests were treated to a PowerPoint presentation showing photos of the couple from childhood to the present.

Dolly Soyez was the organist.

Candlelighters were the groom's cousins, Elliot and Samantha Soyez of Cedar Point.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father.

Jenile Taylor was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Robyn Kukuk and Rachael Becker. Carla Tharp was the bride's personal attendant.

Mike Taylor served as best man. Groomsmen were David Tharp and Sheldon Harshman.

The couple's goddaughter, Shannon Taylor was the flower girl. Ring bearers were the bride's nephews, Noah and Nathan Kukuk.

Guests were seated by the bride's brothers, Matthew, Mitchell, Mark, and Mason Kukuk.

Guest book and program attendants were Shaina and Sheila Makovec and Dana Beltz.

Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner, and dance was held at the Lincolnville Community Center, Lincolnville. Marissa Makovec and Kayleah and Crystal Kukuk were reception attendants.

The bride is a graduate of Marion High School and will graduate in December from Manhattan Technical School, with an associate's degree in accounting. She is employed as a department manager at Wal-Mart, Manhattan, and at Alltel.

The groom is a graduate of Chase County High School and will graduate in December from Manhattan Technical School, with an associate's degree in welding and drafting. He is employed as a weld technician at New Dymax Manufacturing Company, Wamego.

Following a wedding trip to the Sand Dunes and other points of interest in Oklahoma, the couple lives in Wamego.
