L.D. 'Cass' Castleberry
L.D. "Cass" Castleberry, 78, lifelong resident of Herington, died Jan. 20, 2008.
Born Aug. 5, 1929, at Herington, he was the son of Benjamin and Thelma (Johnson) Castleberry.
On Sept. 21, 1952, he married Irene Herbel.
Survivors include his wife, Irene of Herington; son, Ben Castleberry of Herington; two daughters, Connie Castleberry-Alvarez of Herington and Cathy Goodman of Olathe; sister, Ada Marie Blount of Salina; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A private family service was held at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
