League forensics meet held at CHS
At least 108 students from seven schools participated in the Eisenhower League Forensics Tournament hosted April 6 by Centre High School.
Bennington placed first overall, Wakefield second, and St. Xavier third. Other schools represented were White City, Solomon, and Elyria Christian.
Centre students' results were: Jill Fenske, fourth, and Khanh Do, fifth, in original oration; Julie Rziha, fourth in prose interpretation and second in humorous solo; Megan Pauls and Justine Jennings, seventh in duet acting; Jennifer Werth, fourth, and Randi Smith, fifth, in poetic interpretation; Fenske and Andrew Hajek, fourth in improvised duet acting.
