Lee Roy Rohler
Lee Roy Rohler, 70, of Marion, died Jan. 13, 2008, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center, Hillsboro.
Born Oct. 14, 1937, at Dearborn, Mich., he was the son of Roy and Jesse Rohler.
He retired in 1982 as a chief master sergeant with 27 years of service the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Boeing in 1992.
He moved to the Eastshore community at Marion Reservoir in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; brother, Richard; and one grandchild.
Survivors include his life partner, Marilyn Long of Marion; two sons, David of Derby and Steve of Kerrsville, Texas; daughter, Leslie of Jackson, Mich.; two sisters; two brothers; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday afternoon at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
A memorial fund has been established with Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
