Leo Club sponsors prom for senior citizens
Centre Leo Club is sponsoring a prom for senior citizens Saturday at Tampa. Anyone over 50 years old is invited to attend.
The prom will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Tampa Senior Center, but participants are asked to go to Tampa State Bank a half hour earlier to vote on a slate of king and queen candidates. Each vote will cost one cent.
Winners will be crowned at the prom, which will feature music of the 1950s. Finger foods and drinks will be available. Donations will be accepted.
The seniors' prom scheduled for Nov. 11 at Lincolnville has been canceled.
