Leona Meisinger
Leona Meisinger, 92, died March 14, 2008, at Marion.
Born Dec. 31, 1915, at Blackwell, Okla., she was the daughter of Leslie and Ada (Duncan) Gillespie.
She was an employee of Duckwall's in Caldwell and Marion, retiring in 1978, after 22 years employment.
On July 19, 1959, she married Henry (Jim) Meisinger at Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, George; second husband, Jim; three sisters, Mae Soyez, Lela Thomas, and Maxine Polock; and three brothers, Earl, Charles, and Kenneth.
Survivors include a stepson, Robert Meisinger of Marion; sister, Irene Crabtree of Marion; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were this morning (Wednesday) at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Brett Huebner officiating.
Burial was in Marion Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Our Savior Lutheran Church or Marion Assisted Living.
