To the Editor:
The St. Luke Auxiliary Shoppe continues to amaze us all. It is the perfect example of what can happen when Marion County works together for a single goal. Donations and purchases by the entire Marion County community have allowed us to buy items that either would not have been bought or would have to have been included in the hospital's budgetary process.
These purchases to date include the bus, which I am sure you either have read about or seen in the community. In addition, we have been able to purchase a large screen TV, TV cabinet, and dining room chairs for the living center as well as new, insulated dishes for the dietary department of the hospital. Now there is a greater chance that food served will be hot.
The purpose of this letter is not only to update the community on our successes but to thank you for the continued support. We could not do it without you.
