To the Editor:
As the Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6958 start to get geared up in planning their Holiday Bazaar of 2006, we would like to extend our deep appreciation and thank you to the exhibitors and patrons who helped make 2005 Holiday Bazaar on the third Saturday of November go fairly well. Out of a total of 20 exhibits that can be set up, there were 15 that reserved and participated Nov. 19 in the LAVFW's Holiday Bazaar.
This year it is the hope of the ladies auxiliary to have all 20 positions filled and a record crowd attend. Those who failed to come in 2005 missed out on some really nice items.
I know it's early but pencil the 2006 Holiday Bazaar held at the Marion VFW Post 6958 on your calendar for Nov. 18.
Since there is a limited space for exhibits, exhibitors might want to consider getting registrations in early to the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 6958. Contact president Donna Kreutziger, 620-382-2931.
